I’m moving out of my current accommodation as I recently got married 💍 and will be moving into a 1-bed in East Village with my husband!
The current flat is a bright and spacious 2-bed in Insignia Point, overlooking the beautiful Victory Park, surrounded by shops, cafés, and plenty of green space.
You’ll be sharing with Zak, a friendly and easygoing lawyer working in the city — genuinely one of the best flatmates I’ve had! It really feels like living with a friend rather than just a flatmate.
Between my husband and me, we’ve lived in East Village for over three years and absolutely love it here. It’s perfect for young professionals — with excellent transport links, Westfield Mall just a short walk away, and the Olympic Park nearby (yes, you can actually swim in the same pool Michael Phelps won six medals in! 🏊). It’s the ideal mix of open, peaceful surroundings and all the conveniences of Zone 2 London living.
💰 Bills & Rent
Rent: £1328 total (we’re on an older contract, so the rent is lower than current market rates!)
– Contract valid until July 2026 and can be extended, though rent may adjust at renewal.
Wi-Fi: £5 per person
Water: £25 per person
Electricity & Heating: £40–£45 per person
Council Tax: Already paid until March 2026 — your share from Nov 2025 to end of March 2026 would be £464. If you choose to pay monthly from April 2026, your share would be around £80-85/month
Deposit: £1400
