I'm moving out and looking for someone to take my lease, a room in a 2-bed, 2-bath flat in East Village. The room is available from 25 January 2026.

The flat is a bright, spacious, modern property in the former Olympic Athletes’ Village, about 5–10 minutes from Stratford station (Tube, Overground, DLR, buses) and Westfield.

You’d be sharing with my flat mate - female, 30, working in consulting. Looking for someone easy-going, considerate and clean.

About the flat:
• Large open-plan living area (fully furnished)
• Fitted kitchen with A-rated appliances: fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc.
• Balcony
• Floor-to-ceiling windows
• Private internal residents’ courtyard
• Free secure underground bike storage

About the room:
• Good-sized double room (furnished with double bed, triple fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside table)
• Your own large bathroom with bath and shower

The flat is spacious and airy with floor to ceiling windows . There's a private internal courtyard for the use of residents only which you can see from the bedrooms.

We are looking for working professionals preferably. No couples. No pets. You must be employed or self-employed and able to demonstrate your income, and will be subject to reference checks by the agent.

Rent is £1217 per month excluding bills (£160-170 per month for Council Tax, electricity and water). No deposit is required.

Viewings ideally to take place ASAP - we will make a quick decision as referencing takes a couple of weeks.
Please only come to see the room if you are able to provide the following information, should we ask you/you accept(!) to move in:
• Proof you are a UK resident or have the right to live and work in the UK
• Employer reference (you must earn a minimum of £35k per annum) or up to date accounts demonstrating your income if you’re self employed
• Previous landlord reference (if applicable)
• Information for a credit check (last 3 years of addresses etc)

These are the minimum requirements of the referencing agency.
