A double bedroom is available for rent from 1st February (with 3-4 days flexibility before or after), in a spacious 2-bed flat in East Village. For PROFESSIONALS ONLY – sorry, no students, couples, and no pets.
The room (Bedroom 2 in the floor plan) is fully furnished and comes with a double bed, a wardrobe, a large chest of drawers and two bedside tables. It is next to the family bathroom, which will be for the incoming tenant’s exclusive use, as the other bedroom is an ensuite.
The new tenant will share a spacious living room and well-equipped open-plan kitchen with only one flatmate: male, 32, working full time as a software engineer, friendly and happy to chat on evenings and weekends, but accustomed to a quiet and tidy flat during the oft busy work week.
The flat is on the 9th floor (two lifts) and very conveniently located in a gated block of flats in East Village. It is an 8-10 minute walk from Stratford station, which has excellent connections to central and eastern London (through the Central, Jubilee, and Elizabeth lines as well as the DLR and numerous bus routes). As an added bonus, the flat has a balcony with great views, and there are several supermarkets, shops, parks, restaurants and a cinema nearby, with Westfield Stratford a stone's throw away.
The rent is £1,349 per month, plus bills (water, electricity, superfast 500mbps Internet) and council tax amounting to an average of around £170-£180 per month. There is no deposit requirement, but the incoming tenant would have to pass the estate agent's reference checks. We are looking for someone who can commit to staying for at least one year.
