Description
I’m looking for a person to temporarily replace me in this two-bedroom, two-bathroom, bright and spacious second-floor flat in the East Village at Olympic Park in Stratford. The dates are 12th January to 1st March, but the end date can be extended by a few days if needed.
The room:
The room available is a large double bedroom with en-suite, furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and 2 side tables. There’s also plenty of space for a desk and chair.
The flat:
The flat is located right in the heart of East Village and has a lovely view of greenery in the summer and of the city skyline in the distance in the winter.
The flat is modern and clean with a large living area, an open-plan kitchen, and a dining area. There is a 4-seater dining table, 2 large sofas and a coffee table, making it a lovely space to relax. The kitchen comes fully equipped with fridge/freezer, induction hob, oven, dishwasher, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, washing and drying machine. There is also a good-sized balcony.
The flat is a stone's throw away from the Westfield Stratford and all the amenities we have available here (cafes, bars, restaurants, gyms, deli, butchers, a Sainsbury’s and Waitrose).
The flatmate:
You'll be sharing with one other flatmate who is a 25-year-old engaged male who works in finance. I've known him for the past 3 years, and is a clean, tidy and easy to live with person.
Local transport:
Stratford International station (the DLR) is about 5 minutes away, and Stratford station is about 10 mins away.
Important Details:
- Rent: £1,290 excl bills per month. If you move from 12th Jan to 1st March, you will naturally only have to pay 60% of the rent in January.
- Bills: ~£150 /month each. The January bill amount will also be split between you and me.
- Parking: available at extra cost if needed.
- Move-in date: 12th January 2026
- Move-out date: 1st March 2026 (can push this slightly if needed)
