Double ensuite bedroom in 2-bed flat available immediately in East Village - one of the original 2012 Olympic Games blocks.

Aprox £200pp/month for bills.

Landlord requires tenants to have at least £30,000+ salary. Employment reference and credit checks required.

10 minute walk to the back end of Westfield, Stratford International Station, and 15 mins to Stratford Mainline station (Central, Jubilee, DLR and overland lines). All of the eating and drinking delights of East Village itself and Hackney Wick. Waitrose and Sainsburys are only a few minutes' walk away.

The green space of Olympic Park and Hackney Marshes are just outside the door, as are the Olympic swimming pool, tennis courts, velodrome and several gyms. The 2012 Olympic skating rink is a 30-min bus ride up the road.

About my flatting preferences: I need a quiet, relaxed homely flat, sharing with one other. This is not a party flat (if you like to go wild in bars and bars, there are plenty nearby to go wild in).

About the room: Furnished with double bed, and a lot of cupboard storage space. Not suitable for couples. Bedroom has space for a reasonable sized office desk. If you need more space for wfh, the flat's dining table is available for your use during the day (I work at a desk in my bedroom).

Shared space in kitchen/lounge: all cutlery/crockery/glassware and cooking equipment is provided for shared use - there is space for a (very) few extra bits and pieces.

Cleaner every 2 weeks - £80pp/pm (split equally between tenants)

Your ensuite has good water flow, there's plenty of storage for your toiletries/cosmetics.

Washing machine/dryer.
Shared kitchen/living room area, with dishwasher.
Balcony off the living room (great for on a summer’s evening with glass of wine or beer).
Bicycle storage in the undercroft.
No allocated car parking. It is possible to request parking in the area for an additional cost, but no guarantee it will be provided.
Broadband connection, which has done well under the pressure of 2 of us working from home and simultaneous downloading of TV content.

About me: Female, straight, 40something. Have enjoyed living in East Village for nearly 6 years now and I'm keen to stay on. I'm a solicitor with a firm in central London. I'm in the office roughly 4 days a week and WFH in my bedroom the other 1 day.

I'm mature, sociable, organised and have a thing for brunch and Japanese food. I pay bills on time and pick up after myself.

I'm looking for considerate, sane, non-smoking, rent-paying flat mate. I'm open to building friendships at home but must admit I'm a fan of having personal 'me' time (aka watching bad tv). No gender preferences in housemates on my side - we just need to be a good fit.
