I’m moving out of my ensuite room after 2 years to move in with my partner. I’ve really loved living here—the area is great and the house is super convenient—so I'm looking for someone to take over my spot.
The room is a bright, modern double with its own bathroom and plenty of storage. You’d be sharing with laid-back working professionals who are easy to get along with. We have a large shared kitchen/living area and access to a gated garden.
The Setup
- Flexibility: It’s a monthly rolling contract, so there’s no long-term lock-in.
- No Deposit: No big upfront cost to move in.
- Maintenance: The agent is very responsive; any time I’ve had an issue, they’ve been quick to fix it.
The Location
I’m honestly going to miss how close everything is:
- Gym & Parks: 2-min walk to a new gym; 5 mins to the Olympic Park (great for a run or walk).
- Shopping: 5-min walk to Westfield.
- Transport: 5 mins to Stratford International (DLR/High-speed); 13 mins to Stratford Station (Elizabeth, Jubilee, Central lines).
- Commute: It’s about 20 mins door-to-door to Canary Wharf and 25 mins to Liverpool Street.
Practical Details
- Move-in: Looking for someone to take over between Feb 22nd – Feb 28th.
- Bills: Usually around £100–£150/month.
- Council Tax: Band C.
- The Catch: The agency has a strict affordability check—you'll need an annual salary of at least 30x the monthly rent to pass referencing.
