Description
My friend and I have found a lovely flat in East Village, Stratford and hoping to put down a deposit the weekend. We are looking for a 3rd person to join us and take the last room. It is absolutely stunning, with a large open plan kitchen and living room, airy bedrooms and a lovely winter garden/covered balcony that would be gorgeous in the summer.
The flat is on the 3rd floor, 2 mins to Stratford Intl station and only a 7min walk to the Stratford main station with Jubilee, Central, Elizabeth, DLR and Overground lines.
You would be sharing the large family bathroom with one of the flatmates (Navya) and the rent would be approx £1000. Bills TBD but wifi is included, EPC rating is B and council tax band is C (Newham).
We're both working professionals, who want the flat to be more than just a house. We're looking for an easy going, respectful, sociable flatmate who would be up for creating a nicely homely place.
Your potential flatmates:
Navya (26)
I work in psychology with children and young people, and I’m very much a “home has a vibe” person. I love cooking (and feeding people), hosting chill dinners, movie nights, board games, good chats, and the occasional pub plan. I go to the gym, enjoy walks, and like a mix of social time and personal space. I’m clean, considerate, and looking to build a friendly, warm, social flat — not just people who share bills but actually enjoy living together.
Trisha (25)
I work in theatre marketing and production for a company based in Brixton. I'm very interested in arts/culture/politics and am always up for a chat or watching something. I love cooking and baking, especially for others :) I love to hang out and do things together but I also like to keep to myself at times. You will find me at a play, a dance show, a concert or in my bed with Netflix most days. I want to get into fitness and outdoorsy stuff this year and am looking to expand my social circle in London.
The flat is rented as a whole and you would need to be earning £34k to meet the referencing criteria. The deposit would be £1250 but Spareroom limits the amount by rent; this room is the cheapest in the flat (2nd room in the video). It is an absolute steal for the area.
Message me if this feels like your vibe and I'll send you a video of the place ☺️
