I have 1 en-suite bedroom available in a 4 bedroom townhouse in the heart of East Village Stratford from the end of May 2026.

(The contract’s starting date is 25th May)

I am leaving after over 8 years in the house as I’m buying my own home.

THE HOUSE + LOCATION

- 4 bedroom, 3 storey townhouse in amazing location surrounded by lots of cafes, restaurants and shops in the heart of east village/olympic park complex
- 5 minutes walk from Stratford International and Westfield Stratford City
- 10 minutes walk from Stratford station which has excellent transport links (Elizabeth Line has changed our lives!)
- 15 minutes walk to Hackney Wick & the canal
- Fully furnished (with option of extra furniture left by current tenant - see below
- Very spacious property - open plan living space
-Secure key fob entry and 24-hour security on site
- Private garden/terrace area which is great for sitting out in the summer
- Non-smoking household

THE ROOM
- One of the biggest rooms in the house. The room comes furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers, 2 x side tables and a large double wardrobe (floor to ceiling and soo much space!)
-The room looks out to a private courtyard which is only accessed by residents
- Plenty of space for a desk if you WFH and space to bring other furniture
- Own en-suite bathroom with big cabinet and cupboard for storage

EXTRA FURNITURE

I am happy to sell my Ikea chest of drawers to the incoming housemate for £40. It’s a 4 drawer chest of drawers in really good condition. I’m not really able to transport it back home.

CURRENT HOUSEMATES

Current housemates are all in their thirties.
Wyn who works in UX, Avita works as a lawyer & Hallie works in Events Management.
We’re into the usual things like dinners/drinks out, sport and a TV binge.
We’re all easy going, friendly, sociable but considerate and respectful of each other’s space.

IDEAL HOUSEMATE

We’re looking for someone likeminded - who’s friendly, sociable & wants to treat this house as their home! Important that they are also clean, tidy and considerate with noise as this isn’t a party house.

No couples or pets - sorry!

THE RENT

- £1138.50 per month excluding bills
- Rent is paid on the 25th of each month by direct debit

BILLS

- Bills come to approx £80-£110 per person each month. This includes council tax, water, heating, electricity, our TV License.
-The internet is free and included in our tenancy

ADMIN

- no deposit required (aslong as you pass affordability checks)
- The flat is managed by Get Living London.
- They will need to do references etc before you move in
- You need to be working full-time, pass an income test and credit checks. This process usually takes up-to 20 working days.
- Get Living also sort out any maintenance issues we have with the property - we have a very good rapport with them and they are very quick to react
-The contract is due to be renewed in February 2027 - we believe this will be for another 3 years of tenancy in the property (with the option of leaving early)

MOVE IN DATE
- End of May 2026 (25th May contract start date)

VIEWINGS

We will be doing viewings from end of March/early April (evenings after 1930 and at weekends)

Obviously if you want to come earlier then that’s fine but we are looking for someone who is serious about moving.

We are happy to arrange an initial FaceTime if easier for you but would like to meet all prospective housemates in person.

We are hoping to have someone in place by the middle of April 2026 as the referencing process can take a few weeks to complete.
