I am moving in with my partner in July and need someone to replace my room!
The girls - Karis, Kiran and Kyo (the East Village Kardashians) are very friendly, tidy and are looking for someone similar to us. We regularly spend time together in the evenings and sometimes on the weekends, often having a catch up on a Sunday evening too - watching shows together, having a drink together etc. We make the effort to celebrate each others' birthdays as well! We are meat eaters and we love a wine but are not a party house. No cleaning rota everyone just helps out or pays for a cleaner if they can't be bothered. A very relaxed, calm and happy house! I'll be very sad to leave.
If you're into Formula 1, fantasy books or like to sit down in front of the TV and chat about your day in your evenings you're likely to be a good fit. Plants, pictures and soft furnishings - bonus points as I'll be taking mine!
The room - a double room with a shared bathroom with one other girl, we both clean the bathroom regularly and keep towels/bath mats clean and the bathroom tidy for one another. The room has a 3-door huge wardrobe, a set of 5 smaller drawers (that come with the property) and a set of 3 larger drawers which I will leave (they were there before me) but you'd be under no obligation to keep them. Same with the mirror. I will be taking my black bedside table. There is a matching bedside table downstairs if you require it. You will also get a big cupboard for your things in the bathroom and in the kitchen plus a shelf in the pantry. Lots of storage!
Bills - we add our bills to Splitwise and everything is recorded through that - I pay for Octopus so you will take over the electricity bill responsibility
Bills work out roughly as:
Electricity - £18
Energy: £22
Water: £22
Council Tax: £76
Internet (we pay for faster broadband as 2 of the girls WFH): £8
Total: £146
Extra info:
- Exact move out date can be discussed - I cannot move out after the 18th July otherwise I will have to continue my contract on for another month but could be a bit flexible for before
- Get Living require references for the £0 deposit scheme
- If you're interested I will arrange a date with the girls of the house, show you around and they will want to meet you and have a chat to see if you connect
