I am moving out of my lovely 2-bedroom flat in East Village (Stratford, E20), and my flatmate is looking for a friendly, clean, and respectful flatmate to take over my room.
📍 The Flat & Room
It’s a modern, fully furnished apartment managed by Get Living. The room is a spacious double with great natural light, a comfortable bed, and plenty of built-in storage. The flat features a large open-plan living room and kitchen area, plus a private balcony.
🚶♂️ Location
Located in the beautiful and safe Olympic Village.
5-10 mins walk to Stratford Station (Elizabeth Line, Central, Jubilee, DLR, Overground) and Stratford International.
5 mins walk to Westfield Shopping Centre.
Surrounded by great independent cafes, parks, and gyms.
👩💻 The Flatmate
You will be sharing with my current flatmate, a friendly student. He is easy-going, clean, tidy, and respects personal space. We are looking for someone with a similar vibe to make this flat a comfortable home!
💰 The Details (Please read carefully)
Rent: £1,410 per month (The total flat rent is £2,820, split equally).
Bills: Not included, split 50/50 (Electricity, Water, Heat).
Council Tax: Band D. If you are also a full-time student, the flat remains fully exempt. If you are a working professional, you will be solely responsible for the Council Tax. (Since my flatmate is a student, the property will qualify for a 25% discount. The estimated cost for you would be around £60 per week, subject to final confirmation with Get Living/the Council).
Deposit: 5 weeks' rent (held in TDS).
📅 Availability:
I am moving out on 5th July, so the room will be empty and available from early-to-mid July! The official contract transition is currently drafted for August, but our goal is to find someone who wants to move in during July. Once you pass the referencing, we will request Get Living to bring the official contract start date forward so you can move in ASAP.
⚠️ Important Admin:
As this is an official tenancy change, you will be signing a new contract directly with Get Living alongside my flatmate. Therefore, you MUST be able to pass Get Living’s standard referencing and affordability checks before moving in.
