I have two rooms available in a super spacious East Village flat. Both my friends are moving out (one is going back to Norway and the other's bought a flat herself), so I'm finding myself with two rooms to replace, move in by Sep 24th 2026.
The flat:
- open-plan kitchen/living space
- fully furnished
- bike storage and car park available (at additional cost)
- big, spacious patio in the back in a private garden that's only for residents
- heated flooring (although the flat is so warm that we never need to turn on the heating even in the winter)
- wifi included in the bills!
Room 1:
- A cozy double bed room
- Comes furnished
- £1150 + bills
- Share bathroom with 1 other person (me); bathroom has an overhead shower plus a tub
- Floor to ceiling window/door that opens into the private patio
Room 2:
- Comes with a spacious ensuite
- Comes furnished
- £1270 + bills
- Floor to ceiling window/door that opens into the private patio
The Bills:
Bills come out to £40-£50 per month, council tax is an additional £56; every 6 months we pay for water which comes up to an additional £80 per person. Wifi is included!
The Housemate:
You'll be living with me, Ruhi. I'm a 29 year old professional who works in strategy. I've been living in this flat for 5 years now. I absolutely adore it - I haven't found a better flat for a better price so I just haven't moved.
I moved to London from Canada 5 years ago. I enjoy cooking, traveling, yapping, and wine. I WFH 2-3 days a week. I'm quite a sociable person so I'm always down for a yap after work, but also love my own personal time. It's all about balance!
About you:
I'm looking for someone in their late 20s-mid 30s who would be sociable, respectful and treat the house as their home.

- Up for a yap and wine from time to time
- Clean!!
- This is NOT a party flat. However, would love to live with someone who is ok to host something from time to time. For example, we hosted a FIFA World Cup finals watch party last weekend!
The details:
- everyone will need to pass a background check done by GetLiving (the agency that owns the flat)
- Minimum £35,000 salary!
- Please note that the rent may be lower by £30-50 as listed. The rent will increase when the new tenants join but I just don't know by how much as the agency will go by the inflation rate at the time of doing the tenancy change.
