Spacious room in East Village

I’m looking for a new flatmate to take over the 2nd bedroom of a 2 bedroom flat.

The room being offered is a spacious double bedroom. I use the en-suite, so the larger, shared bathroom is exclusively yours. There is plenty of storage (built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, under-bed space, bedside table). It measures 4.3m by 3.2m, so is much larger than the average bedroom. You can easily fit a desk and other furniture if you want.

The shared living room is has a balcony that lets in a lot of natural light and a nice breeze, with an open plan kitchen. We have a dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

Rent is ~£1400 monthly plus about £150 for bills (includes 1Gbps internet). The apartment is council tax band D.

We are well positioned, just 8-10 mins from Stratford Station and 5 mins from Stratford International. You can be in Soho in 20-30 mins, Kings Cross in 7 mins, and Hackney in about 20 mins. Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is on our doorstep, and there’s tons of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Amenities like gyms, dentists, and supermarkets are at most a 5-10 minute walk away.

I’m a 27 year old professional working full-time in tech and I’ve lived here for 4 years. Happy for someone to join who enjoys socializing but values their own space too. Guests are welcome, so long as you’re and happy to do your share of household chores to keep the place clean!
