Description
🏡 Spacious King Size Room in Friendly Professional House Share – Near North Middlesex Hospital
The property is just 400 metres from Meridian Water Station, offering excellent transport links — only 5 minutes by train to Tottenham Hale for the Victoria Line, and just 18 minutes to Liverpool Street. North Middlesex Hospital is also a short walk away, making this an ideal location for professionals working locally or commuting into Central London.
This is not just a room to rent — it’s a space I’ve carefully prepared for someone who wants to live in a peaceful, respectful, and genuinely cared-for home.
The room has just been freshly decorated and furnished with comfort in mind. I spent time choosing a quality mattress — it even comes with a 100-night trial, just in case it’s not the right fit, though I did go for a really good one. There’s plenty of storage: two double wardrobes, a full chest of drawers, two bedside cabinets, and under-bed drawers — so you won’t be short on space. There’s also a TV available if you’d like it, and you’ll find USB sockets conveniently placed on both sides of the bed and above the chest of drawers. I don’t furnish with cheap or basic landlord furniture — I try to create a space I’d be happy living in myself.
The house is something I’m really proud of. It’s well looked after, with good people living here — all professionals, all respectful and considerate. Some of the current housemates have been here 12, 10, 4, and 3 years, and that really says something about the environment we’ve built. They work different hours and give each other space, but they also enjoy a chat some evenings. There’s a shared understanding here — no loud music, no overnight guests (except with prior agreement), and everyone values peace and quiet. It's a home, not a party house.
The kitchen is long and fully equipped with four ovens, two hobs, a double sink, and a separate area just for making tea or coffee. I’ve made sure that each tenant has more than enough space for their groceries — half a fridge and half a freezer each. The front room is cosy and has a TV, and there’s a separate dining area too. The house has three toilets and two bathrooms — one with a brand-new suite. Everything is in excellent working order, from the heating to the hot water. There’s no mould, no mildew, and I stay on top of any maintenance — if something breaks, I deal with it immediately. I’m available 24/7, and I don’t cut corners when it comes to looking after the place.
The Wi-Fi is the best you can get — 1Gb fibre with a strong signal throughout the house and even in the garden. Speaking of the garden, it has a table and chairs for coffee in the summer or for smokers. There’s a covered area for recycling, which I manage myself, and the bins are washed and sanitised regularly. I do these things not because I have to, but because I care about the people living here.
Communal areas are thoroughly cleaned every week. While I always aim for weekly cleaning, I say every 14 days just in case — but the reality is, I’ve managed weekly cleaning for years without fail.
I’ve tried to create a calm, clean, and respectful space where people can really feel at home. If you’re also clean, tidy, and mindful of others, and you’re looking for more than just a room — somewhere to come home to and relax — then this could be a really good fit.
I want the right person to feel happy here and enjoy living in a space that’s genuinely looked after. So, if that sounds like what you’re looking for, please get in touch. I’d love to show you around and see if it feels right for you.
