Description
**since I am receiving a lot of messages (thank you!) be patient if you haven't heard from me, doing my best to reply to all**
Hello ! My current beloved flatmates are moving out (one of them is going back to her country and the other is going to live with her partner) so I am looking for two new flatmates!
THE FLAT
The flat is 10 minutes walking distance from Kennington station, and 10-15 min from Elephant and Castle. It is a spacious flat with good-sized rooms, a living room and a kitchen with a dinner table in. There is a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet. The corridor has a lot of cupboards and storage. We spent about 3 years here now and enjoyed it a lot. We know a few neighbours and there is a strong community feeling in the area, which is nice. It is also pretty quiet despite being close to a main Street with a lot of shops/restaurants/cafes !
We are near by a brewery, there are some nice pubs around Kennington station, a few great restaurants, and we are not far from the Mercato Metropolitano. The main street has a big Morrison, a gym, cafes, charity shops, a plant shop, post office, and more. The Tate modern is 30 minutes away by walk, in case you like to go to exhibitions as much as I do. We are also close to Camberwell and Peckham.
THE ROOMS
The rooms both come with a double bed, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe.
One of them has a bed-side table and the other one can come with a desk and a chair if needed.
Bills are not included and are around £60–£80 a month.
CURRENT TENANT
I am working full time in an art gallery, my job is quite demanding but I enjoy hanging out with my flatmates when everyone is available and up for it, I respect others' space too, I believe I am quite easy-going in general, open-minded, I have a few creative projects on the side, and I used to play music before I changed my path. I enjoy cooking and the kitchen has a good size for that (also great to invite friends). My wish for the coming year is to go to more gigs (let's hope we can make this happen!). We made this flat our home and it would be great to have new people who would like the same (and my current flatmates are taking with them a few things they own so we can totally redecorate the flat and make it our own place). This flat is queer friendly btw.
If all this resonates with you, drop a message and we can arrange for a viewing (Preferably Monday-Friday evenings or Sundays and Mondays). If Covid is a worry for you do let me know and I can make sure to take a test before so you feel comfortable.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Estelle :)
