Description
A nice sized room with a double bed and plenty of storage is available in our 3-bed flat share. The flat is in a safe residential area with all the amenities of Elephant Park nearby, has a south-facing balcony overlooking peaceful allotments, and is a 15 min walk to the nearest tube station (Elephant & Castle or Kennington) or a 2 min walk to the nearest bus stop.
Full of plants, candles and yoga practice, our main objective is to find another really lovely person to live with! We'd like the new flatmate joining us to become a friend and it would be great to hang out together occasionally. Being clean, tidy and respectful of noise is also obviously very high on the list.
- PLEASE NOTE: We're only looking for a fellow female sharer who works regular hours and works from home max 1-2 days per week (like we do). Short term lets of 3+ months also considered.
If you think you’d be a good fit then please get in touch with your age, profession and a few sentences about yourself. Thanks!
In more detail...
The Flat:
The upstairs flat in a Victorian mid-terrace with a calm and homely atmosphere. The kitchen/diner leads onto a sunny, south-facing balcony. We don’t have a living room (or T. V.) so we hang out together in the kitchen when we're home and talk, cook, and catch up over dinner.
The room:
A furnished double that includes a double bed, built-in wardrobes, a desk, and bedside table. It gets lots of sunshine and is very quiet.
The rent:
£840 per month. This includes all fixed bills and broadband. Gas/electricity is additional and is paid monthly - cost varies depending on usage and we try to keep it low (around £30 per month). Deposit is £700. We have a private landlord who we have a great relationship with - this also means no agency fees.
The Flatmates:
Mercy is a Creative Director for a music charity and Corinna is a curator at a gallery. We're both into healthy living, growing our careers, good conversation and enjoy a creative outlook on life. We prefer early nights on weekdays, whilst on weekends we’re usually out and about exploring everything that this great city has to offer.
Location:
Safe residential area with nice neighbours who we can call on if we ever need anything. The nearest high street, Walworth Road, is a 5 min walk away and has plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, gyms and yoga studios. Elephant Park is a 15 min walk away.
Sorry: No party people and no smokers/vapers.
Thanks and we look forward to meeting you!
