Double Room in Elephant & Castle

Boring stuff: Spacious double room in modern 3 bedroom 1 bathroom flat located in Elephant & Castle available from 13th July 2024. Room would come with a bed frame, mattress, and moderately sized wardrobe. Further furniture available to purchase from outgoing tenant includes a large chest of drawers, bedside table with lamp, moderately sized desk, and clothes rail (all can be seen in the pictures). The current lease is up to mid-November this year. Flat has fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, large fridge and freezer, lots of kitchen storage space, and a dishwasher. Also has a washing machine and small communal storage room.

About the flat/flatmates: I've decided to take a career break and do some travelling, which is the only reason I'm leaving this flat. Looking for someone to take the room who is chill and social. The two other flatmates (Seb and Tom) are very easygoing and friendly lads, couldn't have asked for better housemates. It's a social kinda vibe in the flat but at the same time very much respectful of each other's personal space. During the week we'd often chill in the evening on the couch and throw on something to watch while we eat together. During the weekend there is always the prospect of a few beers, and sometimes this may leak into the weekdays too... At same time very much not a party house with afters every weekend etc., although we have hosted a couple of great parties.

About the area: Elephant & Castle has been such an ideal area to live - we are a 3/4 minute walk from both the Northern and Bakerloo lines, so generally can get to most places around London very easily. We are a 3 minute walk from the infamous Mercato Metropolitano, which is so handy for when we need last minute plans/are feeling lazy but still want to go out. We are less than a minute walk away from a big Sainsburys (you can see it from the balcony), and there are plenty of gyms within very easy walking distance. It is an ideal location for someone who would be working in the city - I currently have a 7 minute cycle as my commute.
