Looking for two housemates in E&C townhouse

We’re looking for 2 housemates to join us in our lovely 4 bed, 2 bathroom townhouse in Elephant and Castle. Becca and I have lived here for the past year and are looking for two people to re-sign the house with us two of our housemates are sadly moving out.

The house🏠
It’s a lovely three floored house, in a fab zone 1 location but in a quiet cul de sac street. The larger room is £1130, on its own floor. It’s a massive room considering we’re pretty central with two large windows that let in a lot of light. The top floor room is slightly smaller but still well sized is £1080. Both have plenty of space to work from home and can fit in a double bed with under bed storage, bedside table, desk, office chair, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

The house is in a newly built up area with everything you need just around the corner, Tesco, Sainsburys and Lidl all in walking distance and there are a huge array of restaurants, gyms, pubs and shops all 5/10 mins walk away. We have a small patio in the back and you can get on-street parking with a permit.

We’re a 10 min walk to Elephant and castle station (Thameslink, Northern and Bakerloo), 7 min tube to Clapham and Moorgate or 3 mins to London Bridge or Blackfriars, there’s also plenty of bus stops nearby or you’ve got a 10/15 minute cycle into the city. We all currently walk or cycle into work which saves us a lot!

About us✨
We’re both 25, went to Uni of Leeds, met during our exchange year in Singapore, and have lived in London together for the past couple of years. Becca works in radio so tends to do shift work and is in the studio 5 days a week. I work in asset management and I typically go into the office most days as it’s so quick to get in but occasionally will work from home 1/2 days a week. We’ve both been backpacking previously so we’re both pretty sociable and laidback so are looking for new friends rather than just a flatmate. We’re pretty chilled throughout the week and love a house dinner and TV night. On the weekends we enjoy going out for food, having a mooch round London and the odd lil night out but also enjoy a chilled night in too. Looking for people in their mid twenties keen to join in on house dinners, movie nights, days out, runs etc. as we’ve built this place into such a home over the last year.

Move in and other info💭
The rooms are available from the 20th September approx. We’ll sign on for another year. There will be a 5 week deposit up front.

At the moment we put in £150 a month into the house account which covers all the bills, council tax, cleaner as and when and extra bits like house meals, communal bits etc. Sorry we’re not looking for students due to council tax.
