Hi! I have an affordable double room in a 3-bed flat in SE17 available from mid-December. Earliest move in date is 13 December, and I am happy consider 1 January move ins.
You would be taking over my lease which ends in August 2025. Rent for the room is £740 plus bills, which average about £110 including council tax. Deposit is £923.
The flat is just off Walworth Road by East Street Market with great bus links to the city centre (12, 68, 176, 35, 40, and more). Tower Bridge is a 25 min walk, and Kennington/Elephant & Castle stations are a 15 min walk (Northern and Bakerloo line). There's a Morrisons, Gym Group, Tesco, Boots, charity shops, and loads of other shops < 5 min walk away.
The room is a double and comes with a bed frame, mattress, desk, desk chair, chest of drawers, and a clothing rack. You could fit a small wardrobe if you move the chest of drawers downstairs and remove the clothing rack!
You'll be living with Liv (24, Data Analyst) and Nina (27, Occupational Therapist). They are both very chill and enjoy cooking and catching up in the evenings after work! They are looking for another flatmate (female preferred) around the same age to join the flat. Students welcome, would be perfect for anyone studying at UAL!
We keep a cleaning rota and want to find someone who is also interested in keeping the flat well-kept.
Worth noting that the flat is on the 4th floor with no lift access.
