Description
Hello!
I'm Raquel, a Spanish professional lighting designer working in a studio on the South Bank. I'm seeking a new flatmate to share my delightful home with me and my two charming cats, Luna and Lui.
The Room:
Spacious and Bright: Features a large window that bathes the room in natural light.
Fully Furnished: Includes a comfortable bed, two bedside tables, a versatile side table (available upon request), a generous free-standing wardrobe with ample compartments, and an additional built-in closet.
Abundant Storage: Plenty of space to keep your belongings organized.
The House:
Charming and Comfortable: Aesthetically pleasing with a cozy atmosphere.
Ample Storage: Additional storage options include a hallway closet and space beneath the staircase.
Modern Amenities: A pristine, recently refurbished kitchen equipped with all essentials, a large living room perfect for relaxation, and a compact bathroom featuring a delightful rain shower.
Beautiful Garden: A thoughtfully created oasis garden, ideal for unwinding after a long day.
The Area:
Tranquil and Green: Situated in a peaceful neighborhood with a park just a 2-minute walk away.
Vibrant Main Road: Only a 5-minute walk to a lively street offering a variety of shops and services.
Excellent Transport Links: Numerous bus routes to various destinations and proximity to four tube stations, including Elephant and Castle and Kennington, both just a 10-minute walk away.
About Me:
I love my work as a lighting designer, which sometimes involves long hours. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and gathering with friends. Luna and Lui, my two lovely cats, are both very affectionate and gorgeous. I consider myself a chilled, fun, and outgoing person, though not a party animal. I'm tidy, clean, and very respectful of common spaces. While I may be a little shy initially, I'm quite talkative once I get to know someone. I enjoy my alone time but am also sociable and always up for a good conversation, especially over a meal or a glass of wine. I commute to work on a push scooter, which keeps me reasonably fit. I love nature and am always up for outdoor activities, but I also enjoy cooking, eating at home, and relaxing in the evening. I like listening to music, reading, playing with the cats, and learning to play the piano. I'm also into meditation, yoga, science, films/series, gardening, long walks, and visiting museums.
Ideal Flatmate: I
'm looking for a responsible, tidy individual who appreciates a harmonious living space. Must be comfortable with cats.
Rent and Bills:
Rent: £1,200 per month (bills not included)
Deposit: 5 Weeks
Council Tax: Approximately £175 (split between two people)
Internet: £25 per month
Utilities: Water bill £27; Electricity and Gas: from £20 to £40 (this is more or less how much we have been payting, but it may be less in the Summer months and a little bit more in Winter months)
Move-In Date: Available now, but take into account that the agency will need about two weeks to check your references.
If this sounds like the perfect fit for you, I'd love to hear from you! Please get in touch to arrange a viewing.
Best,
Raquel
