Description
My housemate is moving out later this year so I’m looking for someone to move in to this amazing apartment with a very nice landlord, where I’ve lived for almost 4 years. Move in date can be flexible and slightly earlier/later than listed.
The property is on the market for sale (and has been for over a year now..) but despite this you should be able to expect at least 6 months’ tenancy here - I can give you more info on this via message. 🛏️ The Room: - King size with under-bed storage - Ensuite - Built-in wardrobes and free-standing chest of drawers
- Space for desk - Dual aspect, floor-to-ceiling windows 🏡 The Apartment: - Large, bright, open-plan living space - Fully-fitted and stocked kitchen - Washing machine/tumble dryer - Underfloor heating throughout living room and bedrooms - Balcony (with morning and midday sun)
- Concierge and residents’ roof terrace situated in adjacent block
- Located in a quiet area of E&C 🐘 The Area: - Zone 1, less than 10 minute walk to Elephant & Castle underground and ThamesLink stations - Close to supermarkets, several gyms including GymBox, and a short walk to Bermondsey/Borough/Waterloo/London Bridge - Elephant & Castle is undergoing extensive regeneration with a multitude of shops, restaurants, and bars new to the area 👨⚕️About Me: I’m 29, a doctor, working in south London. I appreciate having a nice, tidy apartment to come back to so would like a housemate who is the same in that respect. I like to make the most of my time off work - sometimes that’s just taking time to relax in the flat of an evening but other times it’s going out for dinner, drinks, theatre, gigs, clubs, gym, and enjoying life in London! Hopefully, you’re a similar kind of person - I’m happy to hang out or just do my own thing, depending on yourself. My working pattern sometimes has me working long days, weekends, and nights every so often so a new housemate would need to bear this in mind but generally doesn’t cause too much issue. 💷 Rent/Bills/Deposit: - Rent £1200/month (excluding bills) - Bills are ~£200-250 each per month depending on usage when costs are averaged across the year (for heat, electricity, council tax (Band E), water, fast Hyperoptic WiFi, TV licence) - Deposit: £1183
