Going in the other direction, Burgess park (2 min walk), Camberwell Green (15 min walk) and Peckham (20 min bus) are all easily accessible. There are good amenities on the Walworth Road, including a Tesco express a 2 minute walk away, a larger Morrisons supermarket a 10 minute walk up the road, and several pubs and restaurants.
It is important to note THE ROOM IS UNFURNISHED. Although it is spacious, with sufficient room for a large double bed. If a smaller double was in there, i suspect there would be room for a small desk. The rest of the flat is furnished, with a small office, two toilets, a shower and a combined Kitchen / living room. There is access to a private courtyard out the front of the house, which is handy for drying washing in the summer, as well as outdoor dining. in the courtyard there are communal bins as well as a bike-shed, which is locked from the outside with a padlock.
I am a 27 year old professional who works from the office 2 to 3 days a week. Whilst i try and keep weeknights quiet, i'm often out and about at weekends.
This flat is ideal for a professional of a similar age who works from the office semi-regularly. Similarly, i think it would be best suited to an outgoing individual who is comfortable living in a two person flat where it is likely we are both in the flat for several nights a week.
