Are you a young female professional looking to find a home, not just a place? Are you friendly and considerate? Do you like to keep your home clean and tidy (at least communal areas, our rooms aren't the tidiest you've seen either:) ) and enjoy a homely atmosphere? Looking to rent in the Elephant and Castle area?
If the answer is yes to these, then look no further. We are looking for a third flatmate who meets the above criteria and can move in on the 17th January.
About us: we are two young professionals, working usually from 9am to 6pm. We're quite busy in our spare time as well but we always make time to catch up in the evenings or over the weekends. We're pretty easy going and try to keep noise to a minimum after 10pm, give advanced notice of visitors and keep the home clean (we have a rota:)
About the place: it's about 5 minutes’ walk from both Borough and Elephant and Castle tube stations, it is a newly refurbished 3-bed flat on the 4th floor of a block of flats, there is lift access, bathroom with shower+bath+sink, separate toilet+sink, decent sized kitchen with washing machine, dryer, microwave oven, gas cooker+ 2 inbuilt ovens, plenty of cupboard space, fridge/freezer with 1 shelf/drawer for each of us, 1 spacious loft (for storage only);it has no living room as that has been converted into a bedroom.
About your room: a good-sized double room, comes with a double bed, built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. All other furniture pictured is that of current tenant. If you have any of your own furniture, please feel free to bring it along.
About fees: Rent is £732 a month and with bills included it comes to around £820 a month in total (includes council tax, gas, electricity and broadband; gas/electricity are top-up and are cheaper in summer months). There is also £60 for one-off room furniture and £48 to be paid to previous tenant as she paid water rates in advance up until 31 March 2026.
If these sound good and you would be interested in sharing our home with us, please email/text with a few words about yourself, your current job for referencing purposes (your employer will be contacted by the agency) and where you rented before. I will get back to you as soon as I can. Viewings will be held asap.
We look forward to hearing from you :)
