SITUATION

I’m looking for a new flatmate as my friend, who I’ve been living with, recently moved to Brussels for work. I’m hoping to find someone to take over their place on the current tenancy, which runs until mid-February 2026. The landlord is aware and happy for me to renew the tenancy with a new flatmate, so if you join now, we’ll simply roll onto a new contract together when this one ends.

The rent for the available room is £1,000 per month until February. After that, it may remain the same or increase slightly depending on the new contract.

Ideally, I’m looking for someone to move in as soon as reasonably possible. If we’re a good match, I’ll put you in touch with the letting agency for standard checks (e. g., affordability). There is a £50 fee payable to the agency before they can begin referencing.

ABOUT ME

Hi everyone! I’m Xante, a 29-year-old gay guy from the Virgin Islands (UK) in the Caribbean. I moved to London from the US in 2018 and genuinely love this city’s diversity and energy.

I work in financial regulation. I’m social and enjoy meeting people, but I also value my space and downtime. I’m easy-going and would like to live with someone friendly, respectful, and willing to share basic cleaning responsibilities so we can keep a tidy, welcoming home.

In my spare time, I like exercising and doing hot yoga, spending time with friends, exploring the city, travelling, visiting art galleries, going to concerts, and more.
