Our flatmate is sadly moving out in late February and we’re currently looking for someone to take over a beautiful and large double bedroom in our renovated Victorian townhouse located in zone 1/2!
The room:
The room is very spacious and has two large windows and views of a quiet residential street including the Shard. Although we don’t have a shared living room, the bedroom is big enough to fit a sofa or armchair. The room comes furnished with a newly bought double bed, 2 large shelves and a large wardrobe.
The flat:
The house is split across two levels, on the first floor there's a
modern kitchen with a dishwasher and a wine cooler, 2 bathrooms - including both a shower and a bathtub - and one bedroom. The second floor has 2 bedrooms, one of which would be yours. There's also plenty of storage space, and room for bikes our garden which also doubles as a nice place to chill on sunny days.
Location:
The house itself is on a quiet residential street with houses, gardens and lots of cats (!) located within walking distance of Elephant & Castle, Borough, London Bridge, and Southbank. Bus stops are a 1 minute walk away, with buses to Central and South London, as well as parts of East and North – most places in central London can be reached within 30 minutes. There are also loads of amenities & shops within walking distance (Lidl, Sainsbury's and a Tesco Extra), pubs, restaurants, cafes, gyms, and more.
The household:
You would be living with me (Amanda, 29) and Saivan (28) who have been living here for 4 and 1 years respectively. I work hybrid and Saivan works remote at the moment. We enjoy spending time together at and outside the flat (preferably over food as we’re both huge foodies!) while also having our own downtime. We make efforts to be tidy and considerate of each other and would love to live with someone likeminded.
What's included:
The rent is £1075 and includes all bills covering wifi, council tax, gas and electricity (depending on usage) and cleaning. Water is excluded and is payable every 3-6 months.
