I’m moving out of my lovely room in Elephant and Castle

Move in: 27 February (with flexibility)
Tenancy ends: 26 August (with option to renew)

- 2 desks (1 came from the previous tenant)

- 2 floored flat
- separate toilet and shower
- spacious kitchen
- cosy living room
- washing machine
- 5 minute walk from Elephant and Castle station
- Many bus routes
- 1 minute walk from a large Sainsbury’s
- 3 Asian supermarkets nearby (Longdan, Kiki & Miumiu, Yohome)
- Many gyms (Gymbox, Gym Group, Fight City, More Yoga, Tempo 301, Hot Pod Yoga)
- 2 minutes to Elephant Park

The flatmates
- One is 22 and from India. She’s a product design student in her final year and is at uni all day.
- Other flatmate is 23 and from South Korea. She’s a recent product design graduate and is out and about all the time.
- Both are very friendly, respectful and clean

The serious stuff:
- Rent: 1130/month
- Bills approx 120 (heating is free and electricity is a top up system)
- Council tax band B
- Deposit is 5 weeks of rent
- The property manager (we don’t speak to the landlord in person. No agent btw) will also carry out employment checks (employment confirmation, reference, 3 month payslips), right to rent check, 3 months bank statements and such
