Double room in friendly and calm flat share

Hello there,

My flat mate Lukas is moving to Tokyo (lucky him) after 3 years in the flat. That means a room is available from the 1st April and I’m looking for a flat mate to be onboard for then.

The rent is £950 and bills are roughly £150 per month.

There is a shared living room with sofa, TV and a table for dinner. There’s a nice kitchen and a separate washing machine and dryer. It’s on the top floor of a 3 story building with a view of the park and trees.

There’s good storage in the room and in the flat.

Located within 10 minutes of Lidl, Morrisons, Sainsburys. Also the Gym Group and a Yoga Studio.

A short 5 minute walk and you’re at various bus stops taking you to Waterloo, Southwark, Leicester Square, Brixton, Clapham, London Bridge.

It’s a 12 minute walk to Elephant and Castle station and Burgess Park which is big and has a lake.

I am a teacher at a special needs college and studying a course in child development. I am from London originally. I’m pretty chilled so like a calm flat but hopefully fun too.

I enjoy a park run on Saturday, like going to the cinema, camping when not being rained on, watching comedy, trying to go for some long walks and practice Yoga. I listen to podcasts as well such as the rest is politics. I’m around for a chat or cooking or a pub trip but also pretty busy and respect time for yourself.

The contract would be established with Winkworth in Kennington and you would need to pass their vetting. We would both pay an equal share of the deposit to the estate agent so it’s protected by a government scheme.
