En-suite, Shard Views & Gym | Elephant & Castle

Hi! We’re looking for a third flatmate to take over our departing flatmate’s en-suite room in our three-bedroom flat in Elephant & Castle.

Rent: £1,698.33 per month
Bills: Approximately £247.16 per person per month, paid separately. This covers council tax, water, energy, heating, internet and home insurance, split equally between the three flatmates.
Total rent + bills: Approximately £1,945.49 per month, based on our current bills.
Available from: 10th October 2026
Security Deposit: £2216 to be paid to leaving tenant
NOTE: the input form on spareroom lists £1900, because there was an error inputing the actual figure because it says the security deposit should not exceed 5 months rent, that that is not the case in the instance, will send official documents upon request.

The room & flat

The room has its own en-suite bathroom. The flat is on the 14th floor, with a shared living room, dining area and balcony with views of the Shard.

The kitchen is already equipped with shared kitchen essentials, and we also have a TV, robot vacuum cleaner and clothes-drying rack.

Building amenities

The building has a gym, 24/7 concierge, cinema room, playroom and a space for hosting guests.

Location

Around a 7–9-minute walk from Elephant & Castle station and a 20–30-minute walk from Borough Market and London Bridge. A central location, with plenty within walking distance.

Who you’ll be living with

We’re two software engineers, aged 25 and 27. We value a calm, clean and comfortable home and are looking for someone who feels the same.

Who we’re looking for

Someone quiet, considerate and genuinely clean and tidy. Cleanliness is particularly important to us—we’re looking for someone who cleans up after themselves, leaves the kitchen tidy after cooking and does their share of the regular cleaning.

This is a quiet home rather than a party flat, so no parties or loud late-night gatherings.
