Description

UPDATE: I am around for viewings between the 21st and 25th August, when I'll be staying in the flat myself.

A beautiful, modern luxury flat on the 18th floor of the famous Strata building in Elephant and Castle. Fabulous views north-east towards the City of London, Canary Wharf, and the hills and parks of south London and Kent. Wake up every day to a glorious sunrise! Fall asleep to twinkling lights! Skies this big are hard to find in London. The flat itself is just three years old, in fantastic condition. A plush reception area with concierge greets you, fast lifts whisk you to a spotless and tasteful lobby area on the 18th floor.

Living room and kitchen are one large room.

Living area: comfortable three-seater sofa, plus a large sofa-style bean bag and a large leg rest (which converts into a single guest bed). Large LCD TV, Denon amplifier, Tannoy speakers. Bluray/DVD/CD player.

Kitchen/diner: Large fridge with seperate freezer, slimline dishwasher, large sink, oven, 4 electric hobs, extractor fan. Fully equipped with everything you might need for cooking and serving food (I'm a keen foodie!) - including a large bowl food mixer (with blender and mincer attachments, dough hook and so on), a hand blender, a hand mixer, a toaster, cake/loaf/muffin/pie tins.... you name it. Table for 4 which expands to accommodate up to 8. Six soft, comfortable dining chairs. Wooden floors.

Hallway: large storage cabinet, cupboard with washing machine and microwave.

Bedroom: large double bed, huge built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table, chair, soft matt floor. Marble floor

Bathroom: huge bath with taps to one side (so can accommodate two comfortably - nobody gets the taps!). Powerful shower over bath, with three different spray settings. Huge mirrors concealing huge bathroom cabinets, with an additional full-length mirror. Sink with mixer taps. Low level toilet.

About Elephant and Castle: Central and well connected to the whole of London. It is in Zone 1, the Northern Line and Bakerloo lines pass through, a national rail service takes you to Gatwick Airport and Brighton, and buses will take you almost everywhere in London. Great location for cycling, located on a major cycle route into the City with other major routes taking you to Westminster and the West End. The building has a cycle rental station outside.

Perfect for one or two professionals.
