It is also a 5 minute walk away from Kennington (both branches of the Northern Line and the Night Tube). It takes 30 minutes to walk to the City of London or Piccadilly from the flat (great for saving on tube fare), and 15 minutes to walk to Waterloo. There are also several big supermarkets (Sainsbury's, Morrison’s, M&S Tesco and Coop and Longdan (Chinese supermarket) just a stone’s throw away and the buzzing food market Mercato Metropolitano is a couple of minutes on foot. Burgess Park and Kennington Park are a ten minute walk away and both are lovely parks with tennis and basketball courts. The area also has a wide variety of pubs, restaurants, gyms and leisure centres, and is currently undergoing an exciting regeneration so new bars, restaurants, shops and green spaces are being opened.
