Room to rent in lovely light flat on Essex Road

Hello! I’m looking for a flat mate for my two-bed flat on the Essex Road (N1).

About the room and flat
- ⁠Rent is 1000/month and bills around 215/month (inc council tax)
•⁠ ⁠You have your own bathroom with a shower
•⁠ ⁠The room is fully furnished with large built-in cupboards with plenty of storage.
•⁠ ⁠Fully equipped kitchen, open plan living room and lots of natural light

Flat is 8 minute walk to Essex Road Station and 20mins walk to Angel or Highbury and Islington.

You will be living with me, Annie, a 24-year old working professional. I’m mostly in the office, but I work from home roughly one day a week. Looking for a flat mate who similarly is not working from home too often.

Though I cringe at the ‘selling yourself’ section, I realise that it is helpful. So, briefly, I’m a climber, singer, bread maker, and I am left-wing - politics is not a criteria of course but I would prefer someone who respects and tolerates others. I’ve lived abroad the last few years and am quite internationally-minded, though I’d be happy to share either with a british or international housemate. I’m a vegetarian, I don’t care what my housemate eats, but I am keen to find a like-minded housemate who cares about the environment and reducing waste.

I am quite social and have a lot of friends in London as well as a partner in Bristol, so I don’t spend a lot of time in the flat. But I’d be happy to have a flat mate who’s up for a drink or cooking dinner every so often.

Finally, I am a tidy and respectful housemate, and have always lived in flat shares so I’m used to sharing space. In return, I expect the same levels of cleanliness and good energy.
