Description
Nice double bedroom with private bathroom in a 2-bed apartment in Farringdon. Available for SHORT TERM sublet from 25th September to 25th December. I will be travelling in Philippines and Australia before returning for Christmas.
THE LOCATION
- Approximately 30 seconds walk from Farringdon station. You can literally see the building entrance from the entrance to Farringdon station
- If there was a 'Zone 0' I think this would qualify
- Farringdon Station has several tube lines, Elizabeth Line and Thameslink rail links
- Chancery Lane (~8-10 min walk) is also an option for the Central line
- You can walk home from the West End, or after a night out
THE FLAT
- 2 bedroom flat on 5th floor of the building (Saffron Hill side, so quieter than Farringdon road)
- There is one ensuite bedroom (my housemate), and another bedroom (listed) which has its own separate bathroom
- Shared kitchen living room is a decent size and suitable for hosting small dinner parties
THE ROOM
- Furnished with drawers and shelves
- New mattress recently provided by landlord
- Massive TV which I personally installed on the wall and you can use
- Room is decent size double but not quite big enough for a desk
- Please note I will be locking my stuff away in the wardrobe for the 3 months I am away so you will NOT have use of this.
- This room has its own bathroom for your personal use, including shower, bath and bidet (yes I know right!)
- We can negotiate bedding if this is helpful to include.
THE HOUSEMATE
- 40 year old Italian architect. Likes tango, fitness and cooking pizza. Friendly guy, might ask if you want to go for a run. He works from home most days.
- Pretty much the living embodiment of 'easy-going'
The listed rent will include the following:
- Room rent
- Council Tax
- Bills (Electricity, Hot Water, Gas)
- Cleaner (every 3 weeks)
