Description
Bright and spacious double room with your own bathroom and balcony in a modern apartment in Clerkenwell (EC1).
The apartment is clean, bright and benefits from plenty of natural light. It's in an excellent location:
• 5 minutes' walk to Farringdon Station (Elizabeth Line and Tube)
• 10 minutes' walk to Chancery Lane
• 20 minutes' walk to Tottenham Court Road and Soho
The room is available from 10 July 2026.
Rent is £1,600 per month and includes all bills, council tax, broadband and a weekly cleaner. Deposit is £1,600.
The room is a medium-sized double and comes with:
• Double bed
• Fitted wardrobe
• Chest of drawers
• Bedside table
• Private balcony
• Your own bathroom (I have an en-suite, so this bathroom is effectively yours)
• Underfloor heating
The apartment is on the first floor of a secure building with a lift and a small communal garden for residents.
The rest of the apartment includes:
• Open-plan kitchen and living area
• Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, cooker and microwave
• Coffee machine
• TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+
• Sonos sound system
• Broadband internet
• Underfloor heating throughout
• Large private balcony with outdoor seating
A cleaner visits once a week and will also wash and change your bedding.
About me:
I'm a 46-year-old gay male and live-in landlord. I work regular office hours and split my time between the office in the City (three days a week) and working from home (two days). Evenings are usually spent relaxing at home or meeting friends for dinner and drinks.
I'm easy-going and respectful, and I'm looking for someone similar who is clean, considerate and easy to live with.
I'm fairly flexible on length of stay and understand that plans can change. While there is no strict minimum term, I would ideally like someone intending to stay for at least three months. In general, I prefer shorter-term arrangements and would particularly welcome anyone looking for a stay of around 3–12 months.
Please note that there isn't a desk in the room. You're welcome to work from the living room occasionally (for example one day a week), but the apartment isn't really suitable for someone who works from home more than this.
If you think the room might suit you, please get in touch and tell me a little about yourself.
