Description
Hey! I'm looking for someone to replace me in this gorgeous 2 bed flat in North Finchley, available from 12th October. I’m moving in with my boyfriend so you’ll be sharing with my mum who is a super young-spirited, positive person who gets along with everyone (she’s more like my sister than my mum!)
Rent is £1125 plus bills so total rent is £1350/mth
10 mins walk from the tube on the Northern line (Woodside Park is nearest tube station).
The room is a double with a large built in wardrobe and 2 big chest of drawers looking out onto a big west facing balcony. There's space in the room for a fold up desk and office chair if you WFH but there's also space to set up in the living room too on some days.
The main bathroom would be all yours, with a bath and big walk-in shower and a large mirrored built in cupboard for toiletries etc.
The living room/kitchen is really spacious and full of light with a really efficient heating system which means it's always lovely and warm without costing a fortune in the winter!
There's a dining table and super modern kitchen with all appliances, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. She has absolutely everything you need so it just needs a lovely person to come and join.
The balcony has lots of plants, a table and 2 chairs and an egg chair so it's super relaxing. It looks down onto a small communal garden and doesn't have anyone overlooking us. And it's west facing so we get the sun all afternoon and evening! We're on the inside edge of the development so even though we're just a few minutes walk from the main shops, it's super quiet, private and peaceful.
The development was built in 2016 to a really high standard and is maintained really well. Everyone is super respectful of the communal areas and it's really safe too.
If you have a car, there's only 1 parking space which my mum uses but there is free on street parking just 5-10 mins walk away. My boyfriend has left his there lots of times and it's always been fine.
The high street, which is just a few minutes walk away, has a big Sainsburys, Aldi, Boots, Costa, a post office and loads of other little shops plus a popular cafe which does good coffee and brunch. Within a 15 minute walk is a big Waitrose, an M&S Food and some really nice restaurants, a couple of bars and even a French bakery and coffee shop!
There's a lovely little park just 5 mins away if you want a lunchtime walk or a bigger one just a bit further. My mum has a car and we’ve found 2 lovely nature reserves and a gorgeous country pub just a short drive away so you could join her on a weekend walk. There's also two great yoga / reformer Pilates studios nearby.
A message from my mum:
I'm friendly, open and easy going. I WFH 1 or 2 days a week and usually go out with friends once a week after work during the week and like exploring London with friends most weekends. I like yoga, pilates, walking, reading, listening to music, theatre, cinema and I know some great places for coffee, brunch and dinner. I'm also up for watching a good film and a mix of trashy and interesting documentaries. I'd like to share with someone who wants to socialise sometimes but I'm also conscious of personal space and having our own stuff going on :)
