Looking for a new flatmate in a 2 bed / 2 bath flat. Move in from 23 August.

About the room:

- unfurnished and can fit a double bed with additional furniture
- built-in closet
- en-suite private bathroom

About the flat:

- modern flat - the building is less than 15 years old (no landlord special)
- very well insulated and ventilated
- partially furnished living room (let me know if you have any furniture, the flat has likely space for it)
- living room has space to set up a desk for WFH, if this is an essential for you
- balcony overlooking a courtyard. Overall the flat is looking into the green.
- separate kitchen with a good storage, fridge, freezer, a dishwasher and laundry
- building is part of a gated community

Location:

2-3 mins to closest bus stop for a 10 min bus to East Finchley tube.

Neighbourhood:

- 5 minutes walk to the Finchley Lido Leisure Centre, Vue cinema and some restaurants.
- corner shop about 2 min walk away which is great for when you just need to pick up a couple things.
- East Finchley high road also has a great independent cinema, plus a variety of independent cafes, restaurants, nail/hair salons, small groceries and charity shops.
- Short bus up to North Finchley where there are large Sainsbury, Waitrose and Aldi available. There is a Tesco Extra about a 10 min cycle away.
- Muswell Hill and Brent Cross Shopping Center are also accessible within 30 mins on the bus in either direction

Parking:

- dedicated parking space in a covered garage
- secure bike storage in the parking garage

Hi my name is Victoria (29), and working for an auction house in central London. I have been in the flat for the past 1 1/2. I enjoy to spend time with my flatmate watching shows together, but don’t mind my own space or freetime. I would describe myself as Wine & coffee connoisseur that loves drawing and crocheting. Obsessed with fleetwood mac and foo fighters, but shares an equal love for the, the great Taylor Swift.

Specs:

Rent is £1,020 / month.

Bills are paid separately. Currently they are:

- Wifi: new contract will be set up in August, price pending - likely around £ 15 pp

Deposit:

1,008 that will be put into a protection scheme via an agency. You will pay the outgoing flatmate and then the deposit in the protection scheme will be changed to your name by the lettings agent.

Referencing:

There is formal referencing via Lettings Hub required to be added onto the contract.
