This is a proper 'home' rather than a typical London flatshare and needs a flatmate who appreciates it. If you are interested in sharing a peaceful place with only one other flatmate, Zone 4 on Northern Line works for your daily commute, and you like the leafy North London, then keep on reading!

LOCATION:
- Located in one of the nicest areas of Finchley, in a quiet and leafy private cul-de-sac.
- West Finchley station on Northern Line is 5 minutes away, and Finchley Central is 10 minutes away. Northern Line gives you convenient access to central London, City, and West End. Please see the bottom of this page for more info on commuting.
- High street with shops, restaurants, Tesco, Waitrose, Aldi, etc is minutes away.

THE FLAT:
- Ground floor
- Modernised
- Large living room with smart TV, dining table, etc
- High speed wireless Internet
- 4 piece bathroom with 2 showers and a bath (you will have your own bathtub and shower)
- Kitchen has all the usual modern appliances including dishwasher, washing machine, and all sorts of dinnerware
- Unallocated off-street parking is available in the private road
- Very large tranquil green spaces (woods, parks, golf club) are situated right outside the flat, giving you the ideal place for walking/running. (Google "Lovers Walk Dollis Brook" and check out images)

THE ROOM:
- Average sized double room, not large, not too small
- Double bed with storage space underneath and a brand new mattress

RENT AND BILLS:
- Rent including all bills except gas: £600 per month
- Gas bill is variable between £10 to £70 per person per month depending on the season and use of heating. Colder months cost more.
- One month rent in advance and a deposit equal to one month rent are required.

FLATMATE:
You will be sharing only with myself, a 36 y/o easy going female professional interested in technology, science, current affairs, arts, culture, wine, etc. I am very clean and tidy and maintain the flat nicely. I like DIY and you would often find me fixing or improving something around the flat.

I have a day job and other things to do after work, but I am quite friendly and would usually have a quick catchup with you in evenings. From time to time we could watch a film together, share a drink, go out, or cook.

You are preferably a female young (but mature) professional or a postgraduate student. You are clean and tidy, responsible, respectful, and reasonably sociable. You are looking for a nice and peaceful 'home'.

VISITORS:
- Occasional considerate visitors are welcome, as longs as we agree on how often they visit.

HOW CLEAN? ARE WE ON THE SAME PAGE?
- You are hygienic, you understand why kitchen towels should not be washed with bathroom mats and underwear!! You don't routinely wear outdoor shoes indoor.
- You don't leave your clean up for the next day. You clean and tidy the kitchen after your cooking/eating is finished. You put things back in their place after use.
- You are happy to help with a biweekly cleaning of common areas or alternatively sharing costs for a cleaner.

However these do NOT mean that I am looking for an OCD or I am over-sensitive about my stuff. I am just looking for someone with higher standards of cleanliness.

     - Kings Cross: 21 mins
     - Tottenham Court Rd: 24 mins
     - Leicester Square: 25 mins

     - Moorgate: 27 mins
     - Bank/Monument: 29 mins
     - Waterloo: 29 mins 
     - London Bridge: 31 mins

- UCL, SOAS, Birkbeck campuses (Euston/Warren Street/Goodge Street) could be reached via a ~20 minute tube journey (+ around 10 minutes walk).
- Middlesex university - Hendon campus is very close (short bus ride).
- Please check your route with TFL Journey Planner and make sure your daily commute is reasonable before coming for a visit.
