we are looking for: YOU
Ideally female, 25 plus, working professional
You will be very much part of a home, not a house
Clean, tidy – must be prepared to clean according to house rota and chip in with cleaning supplies
Friendly and easy-going and with a sense of humour
The House:
Lovely living area (and projector for watching films/government pandemic announcements)
Good-sized, private garden that catches the sun, and with barbeque and sun loungers.
Nice well-kept kitchen with lots of storage space, including coffee machine. Large fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer. Sometimes there is homemade bread and cakes!
2 good bathrooms, including one with bath.
Lots of light and space in the house.
The room is light, high-ceilinged, with plenty of space. Comes furnished including double-bed, desk with chair, bookcase, and wardrobe.
Quiet but friendly neighbours and the world’s best landlord.
Two lovely parks are nearby: Victoria Park is behind the house, and Avenue House is in front.
Finchley Central station is on the same road (hence the name!)
Close to shops including a small Sainsburys and Waitrose, and a larger Tesco. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, and a library. Also, near a Pure Gym, cinema complex and local swimming pool. There are also some lovely walks in the area (ask John about these).
The housemates
You will live with 5 friendly housemates who are helpful and good-humoured. One is an English teacher/writer, one is a science teacher/actor, one is a trainee lawyer/good apple crumble maker, one is an accounts assistant/amateur photographer and croissant lover and one is Paul who works for the NHS and lives for Arsenal.
We all work long hours during the week and prefer quiet relaxation on the weekends to partying. Though we do have meals together (steak nights), film nights and house quiz nights.
We look forward to meeting you for a cappuccino and some craic.
John, Glen, Nikki, Winnie and Paul.
