Female housemate wanted in Finchley

Female housemates sought to share our spacious, friendly and peaceful Finchley house with three other women as our fourth housemate is leaving the UK.

This is a four bedroom house with two bathrooms, so you share a bathroom between two. We also have a large living room, nicely furnished and well decorated.

Rent is £500 per calendar month plus bills which vary between around £125 in summer and up to £160 a month in winter. Deposit is £500.

The house is located less than five minutes walk from Finchley Central station on the northern line.

The room is available shortly (date can be negotiated) and we are looking to sign a joint tenancy agreement which will take us up until October. It is likely the landlord will offer another one year contract in October.

You must be working full-time, (not looking for someone who works from home due to cost of bills, etc) and able to provide proof of income and an identity document, eg, passport, in order to be approved by the landlord.

You will be sharing with three other women - one British, one Polish and one Canadian. This is not a party house but a calm and quiet environment. We are friendly but respect each other’s privacy and keep the place clean and tidy. One of us is a journalist, one a proofreader and one works in a school.

The house has recently been repainted. The room is furnished with a double bed, a decent wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There is room to add a desk and chair or some other furniture of your own if you wish. There is an internal cupboard for storage.

We have a large lounge and a fully equipped kitchen with the usual appliances.

There are plenty of amenities nearby - supermarkets, coffee shops, pubs, gyms and salons plus two parks and tennis courts within a short walk. Finchley is generally a safe and pleasant area to live in.

Street parking is available although a permit is required from Barnet Council.
