Double room in Finchley Central available

Sadly, our old housemate is moving out.

The room comes unfurnished, but we're happy to help you with getting some furniture in.
We can also provide a desk, chair and some bedside drawers.

The room is bright, has high ceilings and new laminate floors. It is located next to the kitchen, on the other side of the flat from the other rooms/the living room, so it's pretty quiet and peaceful. The flat is located above some shops on the main road, but the room faces the other way so no street noise.

The rest of the flat is fairly spacious and has been recently renovated. Separate kitchen that is very pretty and fully equipped (washing machine, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher) with tons of storage. Beautiful bathroom with a huge semi-standing bathtub. Spacious living-room and quite a bit of storage throughout the flat. All the rooms are bright throughout the day.

All amenities you can think of within 2-10 minutes walk - Tesco superstore right around the corner, big Waitrose, Aldi, laundry, tailor, hardware store, park, beauty salons, pub, wine shop, lots of restaurants and cafes etc etc. 5 mins walking to Finchley Central tube station and from then it’s 20 mins into central, 10 minutes to Camden directly on the northern line. Great bus links or a 20 min bike ride to Hampstead Heath.

With us we also have Bucky, the most friendliest cat. He'll probably visit you during the day to hang out in your window.
Also we got Captain Mylo, my friendly puppy. He's housetrained and doesn't bark, so you'll only notice him when he's trying to steal your food or ask you to play. He's mostly found with his carrot toy in his mouth.

Due to us having two pets already, we are a bit careful of having more pets. However we're open to consider pet owners but the pets must be well behaved and if it's a dog must meet my pets beforehand. Bucky isn't so keen on cats, however I'm happy to consider the right cat.

We are both friendly, welcoming and sociable but also respectful. We like it tidy, so currently have a cleaning plan in place.

We would really like someone chill, that would enjoy hanging out with us from time to time. We like to have a pint during the week and go for walks on the weekend or just watch Netflix together and enjoy boardgames. Obviously you can have your own friends and we all need our own space but in general we would rather have a new friend living with us, than "just a housemate". We both also love karaoke 🎤.

My primary job is working in quality assurance for TV shows and movies, having left my video game job very recently. I work from home full-time. In my alone time I enjoy video games, music & walks with my dog.
I'm still looking for a gym buddy as well.

Lulu, is working on Movies and TV shows and takes care of the colour aspect during the production.
She's super chill and enjoys cooking, yoga, music (you'll probably hear her singing under the shower a lot) and working out.

Generally this is a chill flat, so guests are welcome (within reason) but not up for weekly parties. However don't mind birthday parties and all that.

Move in date is from the 31st of August. We are definitely looking for someone to live with us long-term, however will stick with a one month notice time in case things don't work out.
