Newly decorated double room for rent from Jan

Hello.
My name is Helen, I'm a 34 working professional and I have a lovely double room plus small walk in storage space in a shared flat in Finchley Central.

The room is in a ground floor flat in a converted house; with excellent upstairs neighbours! The entire space (bar the 2 bedrooms, of course) is communal, featuring a large and spacious living room, compact bathroom with a lovely shower (no bath) and a small kitchen. The property also boasts a spacious back garden with decking and astroturf, which is a real treat in the summer!

I moved in this October as I know the landlord, so have taken responsibility of the property and any contact with them. I have placed all bills into my name and would not look for an incoming tenant to take responsibility of amending this, only to work out a sensible timetable to pay into myself each month.

I work in the city (opposite St Paul's) 2-3 days a week, and from home the other 2 days. I have 3 cats - Lily (a calico), Jemima (a tortie, and Lily's eldest daughter), and Agate (Lily's younger daughter who was very sadly dumped after being adopted earlier this year :( This is definitely a house for a cat lover who enjoys the scampering and fun of some little feet; however they are entirely my responsibility in terms of the care, feeding, cleaning etc and I would not expect any one else to be involved in their maintenance (unless you wanted to be!) Lily goes out but the two younger are indoor girls; all sleep in my room and generally tend to be where ever I am but are very social and love having someone to show off their tricks too ;)

I have included some current pictures of the property, however please be aware that from Monday 25th November the entire property will be undergoing redecorating (and getting rid of the hideous red wall in the living room...) so the entire place will be fresh for a new tenant. In the new year (if not before) there are also plans to update the storage in both the kitchen and bathroom.

Whilst I work in a corporate role now, I originally trained and worked in Musical Theatre so very much enjoy music, singing, piano etc. I am an avid history buff, both in terms of TV and reading, and big into my international rugby. (Welsh blood!)

From my perspective, I am looking for a reliable, considerate professional female house mate. There is a lovely retail/leisure area within Finchley Central which I will be more than happy to show you around and occasionally catch the odd glass of wine after work or of a weekend. :)
