Comfortable double room in stylish family flat

We have a double room available in our top floor flat in a recently converted and renovated detached Georgian house overlooking a park. We are Rick and Leah - a screenwriter and actress with a cheerful six year old boy.

Its a large double room with bed, big wardrobe, vintage chest of drawers and desk, adjoining bathroom and south facing window for afternoon sun. En suite-ish, there is direct access to the main bathroom and we have our own en-suite.

The flat is genuinely lovely - spacious, light, warm and homely with high ceilings, massive sash windows and wooden floors throughout. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living/dining room, modern kitchen, roof terrace, separate washing machine/utility room, tumble drier and the usual broadband, sky, weekly cleaner etc.

10 mins walk from Finsbury Park Station (Piccadilly, Victoria Line and Overground), or a short bus ride away from Angel, Camden, Crouch End and Stoke Newington. Its a young, safe, leafy area just off Stroud Green Rd - unpretentious but fun with great cafes, restaurants and pubs. Our road is a quiet, leafy cul-de-sac with a park at the end so no through traffic.

We have always enjoyed living with other people and sharing our space and this hasn't changed since having a child - but for obvious reasons the evening vibe is more cooking, chatting and watching TV than parties or loud music. Our ideal flatmate would be ideally female, relaxed, friendly and independent- up for having dinner sometimes but also with their own thing going on. Our house has a warm and fun vibe, and we've made amazing friends from renting our room out over the years.

During the week our son is at school, Leah works partly from home and Rick is out during the day. Weekends we have a busy family life, but always an open invitation for sunday roast!
