Large comfy sunny double, great transport links

A lovely south-facing room over looking the garden in our family home. We are an easy-going married couple- both teachers- with two lovely, well-behaved daughters aged 4 and 2.

We are looking for either:

-a full time short-term let, so it is suitable for example for anyone looking for a sublet or for a student doing an internship or residency.

or:

-someone who occasionally likes to go on weekend breaks/ goes home to visit family etc.

The reason for our preferences is that we are close to our elderly parents, but they live far away, and we like to have the flexibility to have them to stay from time to time so they can see their grandchildren.

The room is suitable for a couple: the rent would be £1100 pcm inclusive of bills.

The room is furnished with a double bed with memory foam mattress, ample storage space with four chests of drawers and a wardrobe and a widescreen tv with streaming subscriptions included. There is also the potential for a sofa and/ or desk if you require one. Your room and the shared spaces will be cleaned on a weekly basis and all bills are included.

Transport links to central London are excellent. Harringay overground station (with links to Old Street/ Moorgate and Finsbury Park for the Thameslink) is a brisk 5 mins walk away. Manor House tube is 15 mins walk or 5-10 mins by bus and Harringay Green Lanes is 7 mins walk. We have a shed for secure bike storage if you wish to cycle and there is on street residents' parking (prices start at £16/ 6 months permit depending on your vehicle emissions) with spaces always available within 20 metres of the house.

There is one bathroom (shared, but you would have priority use for your preferred times) and one downstairs toilet. You would have full use of the rest of the house, including the sitting room, large kitchen and garden. We are sociable without being imposing, and are happy to have a chat/ shared meal/ sofa evening in front of the TV if you want a bit of family life and a home away from home. Alternatively if you just want a place to crash during the week and do your own thing, we won't bother you.
