1 Double Bedroom In An Amazing And Homey Flat

I'm Dimitra and I'm reposting this ad because my housemate Alice (whose account we set this up on) is sadly moving out of our beautiful and cozy home - a second floor flat in Finsbury Park. Our other housemate also recently moved out and we've already found a great new housemate Beth to replace her.

We had to temporarily move out of the flat as the landlord decided to renovate it which means we will be getting a brand new kitchen (have added a photo), new bathroom, new carpet throughout and repainting and decorating of all the rooms. We'll all move in to the newly renovated place once it's ready which we expect towards the end of June with the tenancy starting on the 27th.

The flat has a split level layout, and the available room is on the top floor. Beth will be on the second floor next to the fitted kitchen and bright, cosy living room, while my room is on the first floor next to the bathroom. This room will be furnished with the bed, mattress, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table you can see in the photos. It is incredibly bright and gets a lot of sun during the afternoon.

There is also a. communal terrace off this room where we are keen to plant some herbs and flowers if you are up for it! We've always rented the room out on the basis that the terrace is available to anyone in the flat rather than only for the person in that room, so we would like someone that doesn't mind others accessing the terrace via their room.

The flat is a 10-12 min walk from Finsbury Park station and 2 mins walk to the no. 91 bus (Trafalgar Sq - Crouch End). We have a great pub - W. B Yeats - a stones throw from our front door, which does a great Sunday roast and is great for drinks, but we're also a 10 min walk from the local pubs and restaurants on Stroud Green Rd. We have a great bakery/cafe, Big Jo, round the corner which is a lovely place to grab a coffee and fancy pastry on the weekend. Finsbury Park itself is a 10-15 min walk from the house and we're also near the Parkland Walk which is lovely woodland walk towards Highgate.

You would be sharing with me, a 33 year old civil servant with an addiction to colin the caterpillar sweets. I work in policy and like cooking, yoga, tennis and playing guitar. I like curling up with a good book and catching an indie movie at the local Picturehouse.

Beth is 30 years old and currently works as an Operations Lead for a startup. She's lived in London for 9 years and is often out and about with friends. When home she's super chilled and into cooking, watching TV and reading.

The key thing to say is that this flat has always been a home - we come to relax after hard days at work, catch-up whilst watching something on the telly and generally chill and feel comfortable. It's not a party flat.

Bills total approximately £120 a month each for utiltiies, internet, TV license & Netflix. As noted above, the rent from June onwards for the renovated flat will be £850pcm.
