Description
Hi!
My flatmate is moving out at the end of our lease (28th August) and I want to stay so looking for someone to move in. I'm swapping rooms so the one available is currently mine. The estate agents need to know know will be moving in by the end of June so looking to find someone ASAP.
Hopefully looking to find someone who's relaxed, easy going and up for playing some board games occasionally, getting a pizza in the park or zoning out in front of the TV in the evenings :)
FLAT:
It's a great little flat, currently nice and cool in the heat but not too cold in winter. Nice new kitchen and bathroom. Excellent reclining sofa with cup holders
All the furniture is staying, except the mirror and small table by the door in the bedroom which are mine. The building has 5 flats and the neighbours are all pretty relaxed and nice, mostly other young professionals/students. We live next to a primary school so the kids can be noisy in the day but I haven't minded too much working from home.
ROOM:
It's a nice double room with bedside table and wardrobe. It's not got room for a desk but I've been working at the kitchen table this year which works well. The window looks onto a nice gated housing area behind us so it's nice and quiet.
Bills/Estate agent stuff:
We rent through Network Agencies and they have been really good this year whenever we've needed to contact them. The bills come to around £100 a month (gas, electric, water, wifi, council tax). I'll be a student next year so if you are too we won't have to pay council tax. If you are a professional then I'll apply for the tax deduction so you only have to pay half.
Flatmate/me:
I'm 25 and going to be starting a masters at UCL in September training to be a speech and language therapist. I'll be out at Uni/placement most days and maybe working from home 1 day a week. I am up for pub drinks in the evenings or just watching too much youtube and on weekends I like going out to eat and visit new places. I like cooking and baking, I'm vegan but I don't mind if you aren't. Big fan of stand up comedy, and I do hula hooping if you ever want to try!
