Friendly household on quiet street – good-sized fully furnished single room overlooking a beautiful garden.

We’re looking for a new housemate as Lara is sadly leaving us, to move in with her partner, after four years. Remaining housemates are all long term: Jamie is in environmental law; Safiah is a civil servant; and Sofia is in events production. Our interests include film, music, theatre, sport (running, hiking, tennis, cycling, gym), and quizzes. Everyone’s fairly busy, but we’re all comfortable hanging out and occasionally grabbing a meal or watching a film together. Looking for somebody easy-going to fit with the current vibe.

House/Room:

• Rent: £540.10 (including council tax + water)
• Bills (gas, electricity, internet, TV licence): less than £40
• Deposit: one month’s rent
• Contract: minimum 6 months, though long-term preferred
• No pets/smokers (as per landlord’s wishes)
• Available immediately, must be taken by 1 October

Situated a few minutes from Stroud Green Road with a larger Tesco plus lots of restaurants and other interesting shops. Entertainment includes the Park Theatre and a Picturehouse Cinema. Finsbury Park station is less than 10 minutes walk, providing connections to central London (via tube, bus, and overground).

We’re planning to hold viewings/interviews on the evenings of Monday 1 September and (possibly) Tuesday 2 September. Any further interviews, if necessary, will probably be after Wednesday 10 September.
