This spacious, light, furnished double bedroom (single occupancy) will be available from 18 October 2025. .

The room looks out onto our large, mature garden. It is furnished with a comfortable double bed, with under-bed storage; and further storage in the form of a hanging wardrobe (with two further drawers) a large chest of drawers and shelving. The desk in the photos is currently in storage, with a smaller desk in its place, but can be offered if a larger desk is preferable.

All rooms in the house boast a fireplace!

You would have use of a large bathroom, situated directly below the bedroom. This has a claw foot bath with in-bath shower attachment. This is for baths or sit down showering only.
The bath is shared with one other lodger, who lives in the room directly below. The bathroom also has: a sink, toilet, shelving unit for toiletries (with additional space in the drawers of the towel cupboard) and several laundry lines. We also have a rotary line in the garden for drying clothes on sunny days.

We have a large and well equipped double kitchen/dining area, which acts as the friendly, common space.

We are a fun, busy, laid back household. I am a live in landlady (though not fond of that description!). The house is also home to one of my grown up ‘kids’ (atm) a further 2 lodgers (all in their mid/late 20’s) and 2 cats!

Our lodgers can choose to be as private or as sociable as they want to be, but we find the best fit for us has been busy, independent professionals/students, who are ‘house trained’ and take pride in keeping a clean and tidy home. We do also feel it is important to respect each other's privacy.

Our beautiful Victorian house is situated in a quiet street near to Finsbury Park and Crouch End, N4. There are good transport links: Finsbury Park is a 5 minute bus ride away in one direction - for easy access to National Rail links and Victoria and Piccadilly lines. Haringey and Crouch Hill overground stations are also 5 mins away.

Stroud Green Road has good food shopping and eating haunts. Crouch End and Muswell Hill offer more interesting shops as well as many cafes and eateries. There are a number of gyms and an indoor swimming pool and lido 10 mins bus ride away.

Rent is £880pcm, plus £880 deposit in advance. This includes all utility bills and broadband link.

Additional costs:
£25pcm - made up of a contribution of £20 for a cleaner to come in for 4 hours, every 2 weeks and £5 towards household sundries (like toilet paper, washing up liquid).
