LOCATION
The house is located on a cul-de-sac in Manor house, 4 mins walk to Manor House tube station (Piccadilly line, 1 stop from Finsbury Park, Victoria line and go), plus 24h buses on the corner.

THE ROOM
A large, bright king sized room on the first floor of a spacious 2-storey semi detached house. The room is huge, almost 10 sqm with a built-in wardrobe and king sized bed with super comfortable mattress.

THE HOME
The house itself is lovely, inviting and warm. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you need and a lot of storage space for items. We share condiments, teas and stuff like that because life's too short to have to buy your own salt and pepper when you share a home!

The living and dining room has large windows facing the garden, smart lights and lots of space to hang out with friends.

The house has a recently renovated bathroom upstairs and an additional loo and washing up sink downstairs, which is also where the litter box is kept.

From the living room, you reach the garden. There's a patio with a large table for summer brunches, fairy lights hanging in streams across it, and a huge area covered in high quality synthetic grass to chill with blankets. Fab because you can use the space year round. The garden has its own little protected microclimate, so it’s enjoyable for a lot longer than you might think! Heck, there's even a pond at the back of the garden, with maple trees and goldfish!

We have double glazing through the house, central heating and radiators that can be adjusted in every room.

YOUR HOUSEMATES
Hi, I’m Mikey, a 40 years old gay man, originally from Australia. I’ve lived in London for about 6 years now and I recently left my tech job and started working for myself so I’m primarily based at home, but I do like to get out and about most days and adore travelling whenever/where I can! I love cooking and baking when time allows, obsessed with my rice cooker and air fryer! I manage the cleaner and supplies, I love my alone time and socialising too.

Rontian, a 23 years old gay man, recently moved from China. A pretty good cook too, he tends to keep to himself a little more!

Trouble, black and white cat, 10 years old, is very affectionate and playful. Not much of a vocalist, she is however food OBSESSED. Personally I think she has a lot of dog qualities! It’s great if you can help look after her while I’m travelling, but not an essential requirement.

SHOPS AND AMENITIES
Everything you need is within 5 mins walk of the house: a smaller Sainsbury's, 3 well-stocked off licences with great fresh produce, an organic shop, an asian grocer (we shop here a lot!), a post office, an ATM, an awesome and friendly kebab shop, the stunning reservoirs, DRURY coffee shop, The Gym Group, 2 dry cleaners, a pharmacy and a dentist!

DESIRED HOUSEMATE
We are both chill and friendly, tidy and understand the balance of give-and-take that makes a good housemate. The vibe at home is cosy and relaxed, direct communication and drama free. We’d love to create a queer (or queer-friendly) household, that’s sex positive where we look after each other from time to time (sharing meals now and then, downloading after a big day), but also respect and maintain healthy boundaries.
