Sunny double room in spacious Finsbury Park flat

We are looking to fill a sunny double room in our spacious three-bedroom-two-floor flat in Finsbury Park.

The flat is located in a white converted Victorian townhouse. It has great travel links, with Finsbury Park station just 5 minute walk away and an 8 minute walk to the park itself! It also isn't too far from neighbourhoods such as Angel, Stoke Newington, Daltson, Camden and Highbury.

Finsbury Park Station has Victoria and Piccadilly Underground lines and also is a National Rail Station- just a 15 minute journey on Thameslink into the City and two stops away from Kings Cross Station and one stop away from Highbury & Islington Overground Station. There are also plenty of buses around, making transport very convenient.

The room is up for grabs as one of us is sadly leaving her room and moving back to the USA after finishing their Masters Degree.

The room has a large oval window, double bed and full closet (provided by landlords).

The flat is on the top two floors of a four-storey building. The first floor has two bathrooms, three bedrooms and coat closet. The bathroom is large and has a shower/bath.

While, the top floor has the shared living area/dining area/kitchen and a roof terrace/patio. The Living/dining area has windows on both sides with a beautiful view of the city. It contains an 8-person dining area, kitchen island, two large sofas, and TV. The patio has a small planter garden, 6-seater outdoor dining table and two seater bistro table.

The flat has all amenities inside: dishwasher, washing/drying machine, big fridge/freezer, internet, speakers (electric and record player), heated towel racks, etc.

The flat is very light and spacious and it's lovely to spend time here! A real find in London!

Who we are:
We're two friends: Helin 26 (F) from Istanbul and Emilie 28 (F) from Montreal/Canada, who met during our psychology Master's at UCL.

We are social and enjoy cooking, drinking wine, watching movies, playing boardgames, and going out to eat or dance/events. We love chatting and are very warm, open-minded and inclusive!

We love spending time at home but we both have busy lives with social activities and full time work (we both work full time in mental health). But, we make the effort to share dinner together at home a couple times a week. We have been in London for 3 years and are settled :)

Who you are (hopefully!):
Someone who enjoys socialising, is respectful & clean, open-minded and a good communicator. And someone who enjoys a good laugh!

The room becomes available from December and we're looking for someone to take over the current lease until September 8th, 2025. We're planning to renew the lease for at least another year in Sept, and if all works out well, would love the new flatmate to renew with us!
