Description

The flat and room:
* Semi-basement two bed with a garden.
* You will have the larger double bedroom. Stays cool in summer, warm in the winter. Reasonable amount of natural light for a semi-basement.
* Annoyingly, it’s unfurnished which means no bed or mattress.
* My bedroom is split into two rooms, one serving as a DIY recording studio/office which is useful if there’s two of us WFH. Obviously, you’re more than welcome to use it as well. My other room is a box solely for sleeping in.
* Two bathrooms, one with a bath which you could claim as an en suite.
* The living room which we’ve furnished includes a piano, tv, dining table and large book case which will desperately need filling when my current flat mate departs.
* Big kitchen with excessive cupboard space. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer etc.
* Have to admit to some false advertising in the photos when it comes to the garden. The landlord’s son normally tends to it, be he hasn’t been around for a couple of months and I’ve been busier than usual. It has potential though.
* Lots of private bike storage space.
I won’t be able to do it justice on here, but it’s a great space and definitely feels like home.
The deal:
* Available on 21/07/24. All good if you want to move stuff in slightly earlier or need to spend a night or two on an airbed in the living room.
* We’re currently rolling monthly, but the landlord will need us to sign a 12 or 24 month lease. He’s relaxed about swapping individual tenants in and out so it’s not really a two year commitment. I’m happy either way though.
* £1125/month rent each and we’ve been putting £175/month each into a bills pot which is more than enough.
* Deposit is £1100 and the estate agents will need all the usual bits from you.

31, lived in North London for the last 7 years. I’ll be brief for now, but essentially I’m a trail running, musician who pretends to work in tech. Normally up and out for a run early in the morning and WFH with the odd guitar break 2 or 3 days a week.
There will only be two of us so some informal vetting is probably a good idea. I’m thinking to do a round of calls and then we can arrange a time to meet at the flat.
Just drop me short message on what you’re about and any questions you have. I’ll do my best to reply to everyone, but if you don’t get a reply, I do apologise.
