Bright, sunny flatshare in North London

1 large double room, recently painted, with sole use of the main bathroom. My current flatmate is taking the leap and moving in with her partner so I’m on the lookout for a new flatmate to join my home.

This is a very large double room down its own set of stairs making it quiet and private. The room comes furnished with bed, mattress, double wardrobe and two big chest of drawers. It also has a desk and office chair.
Access to the main bathroom with shower and bath tub, sole use.
We have a lovely bright living room with a big sofa, bookshelves and tv. It’s got a stunning view of the sunset over Finsbury Park and is really bright and cosy.
Separate kitchen with lots of storage, also recently painted.

Rent: £925 per month
Bills: vary but a good estimate is £100 a month in winter, £80 in summer

Living with one other, a 31 year old female professional working in publishing. I’m in the office 3 days a week and tend to keep the flat chilled during the week. I like to cook, bake, watch crappy TV, read and do yoga. I sometimes travel with work and I also have a good social life so tend to be out a couple of nights a week.

Would suit someone who is happy to catch up in the living room a couple of nights a week but who has an established group of friends and interests. We’re in a Victorian conversion with lovely neighbours. This isn’t a party house but friends are welcome to come over occasionally and I love a little dinner party or gossip over a glass of wine. Looking for a woman, 28-34 ideally, friendly, clean (this flat is a home and the person taking the room will be expected to pitch in with cleaning regularly) and responsible.

Location:
10 mins from both Finsbury Park station and Manor House station. Directly opposite Finsbury Park and around 12 minute walk to clissold park and the climbing centre. We’re spoilt by the local restaurant and cafes, as well as bookshops and charity shops. Walking distance to a big Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Aldi and Lidl.
