Description
We are holding viewings the 4th and 5th of November, and then again the week of the 11th November until we find someone. We can’t wait to meet you!
Hi!
We have a double room available in our lovely house five minutes from Finsbury Park station.
We have furnished the house and it’s very well-equipped, but the room will need a couple of things.
The room is on the second floor and comes with a double bed frame. It faces the front of the house and is large enough to fit a chest of drawers, clothing rail, and desk and chair to comfortably work from home at. Each room also has its own storage heater with built-in control.
The house has a large kitchen on the first floor with a fridge, an electric hob and oven, and a washing machine. We also have a fancy coffee machine. Just off the kitchen is a big South-facing balcony, perfect for tanning and trying (and failing) to grow tomatoes.
The living room is also on this floor and has a large sofa, TV and sofa bed. There are two big windows and plenty of space to have friends over or watch films.
There are two bathrooms - one off the attic room which is currently unavailable - and both have baths and showers.
Bills are not included in the rent. Council Tax is from £66 each per month, and bills are roughly £30-£80 each per month, depending on the time of year and heating usage.
The house is 5 minutes from the Victoria Line, Piccadilly Line, and useful train connections including the Thameslink to Gatwick and the overground to Stansted via Tottenham Hale. There are also plenty of buses that go in all directions. The journey to central London on the tube is about 25 minutes and by bus 45 minutes.
There are not one, not two, but THREE Lidls in the area. There are many other supermarkets and other amenities as well, including a gym and leisure centre nearby.
The pubs in this area are the best - including the Faltering Fullback, the Woodbine and the Bank of Friendship. There are many things to do on Stroud Green and Blackstock Road, and Finsbury Park and Clissold Park are both in close walking distance.
We both have hybrid working habits, spending most days in the office but a couple days a week and most weekday evenings at home. We’re both out and about a lot but we love to spend time in the house, and therefore like to keep it clean.
**MOVE IN DATE BETWEEN 14TH AND 23RD NOVEMBER** The length is indefinite as the contract is rolling monthly. The landlord is very nice and easy to contact.
